I am selling my extremely rare Fender Mini Strat in Candy Apple Red, complete with its original gig bag. It is in near-perfect condition, with only a few minor signs of use and the pickguard is slightly bent on the top. While some versions exist with two pickups, no body contours, and a Sunburst or black finish, this particular model features three pickups, a 5-way switch, and the classic body contours typical of a Stratocaster. Given this configuration and finish, it is incredibly rare—possibly even a one-of-a-kind piece.
This series was manufactured in Japan for a short period during the 1990s. The instruments are approximately 3/4 the size of a standard Fender Strat, making them perfect for children or for adults looking for the complete opposite of a baritone guitar. It is currently tuned to G standard—three semitones above standard tuning.
The build quality is surprisingly high, and the guitar is very playable; it was not designed exclusively for children.
