Started playing guitars in 1963, love the classic Fender Strats and this sure is one of them.
I took a new Hendrix Stratocaster Body ( still has wrapping on covers) which has the Classic '65 Fender Grey bottom high out put single coils for great pure clean classic tone. The Hendrix is a little different in it has a reverse slanted bridge pick-up and a double heavy tremolo system shown, which is firmer and more vibrant than the standard tremolo system. Both of these readily identify the Hendrix Stratocaster.
I replaced the heavy reverse headstock neck with a more playable Classic Traditional ll '60's Fender Neck which has the U shape (a flatter crown than the C shape). 9 1/2" classic uniform radius.
Put in a tweed hardshell case (original only has a gig bag) and 9ga GHS boomers. Sounds wonderful and plays as fast as you want, nice player.
