Fender '62 Super Amp Reissue 2-Channel 40-Watt 2x10" Guitar Combo 2025 - Present - Brown / Wheat

Selling my Fender '62 Super Amp. Purchased a couple of months ago and it's only seen light home studio usage. I've gone back and forth on if I should sell this or not because it's such an incredible sounding amp with the 10" speakers and has the most lush, tube driven harmonic tremolo I've ever heard. Sadly I have to part with it as some other gear I apparently can't live without has come into my life and this has to go to make room.

Includes dust cover, footswitch and power cable. Ships in original box.

Hailing from Fender's time-tested American Vintage lineup, the '62 Super Amp strikes a perfect sonic midway point between Fender's iconic 1960s black-panel amps and the attitude-packed tweed creations of the 1950s. This 40-watt combo faithfully replicates its vintage inspiration in all aspects, packing a warm and woody clean tone that transforms into a singing overdrive when pushed. It's a truly mesmerizing sound that injects the polite, glassy, and midrange-scooped sound of later amps like the Deluxe Reverb and Super Reverb with a sneering dose of raw midrange bark. Plus, the '62 Super Amp comes equipped with the "harmonic tremolo" that graced precious few Fender creations, supplying you with a deeper and chewier alternative to the choppy trem that fueled later models. You also get a pair of top-shelf Celestion Custom Design speakers that retain the focused and punchy feel that's made this model's 4 x 10-inch successor a legend, only with a slightly more manageable volume and projection. Complemented by the understated brown Tolex and wheat-colored grille that graced Fender amps for only four years from 1959 onward, the Fender '62 Super Amp revives an all-time classic Leo Fender design with the utmost authenticity.
