The Martin OM-28 is one of the most versatile and popular models in Martin's legendary lineup. With its comfortable Orchestra Model body shape, excellent dynamics and beautifully balanced tone, it is a fantastic choice for both fingerstyle and strumming.

This particular OM-28 from 2016 is something truly special. Tonally, it is one of the most impressive OM-28 guitars we have ever had at Ruhr Guitars. An absolute sound monster with extraordinary resonance, remarkable volume and an incredibly responsive character.

Featuring a solid Sitka spruce top and solid East Indian Rosewood back and sides, this guitar delivers surprisingly deep, powerful bass, warm and expressive mids and beautifully clear, harmonically rich trebles. Even with a light touch, it produces an exceptionally full and open sound.

The excellent string separation, impressive dynamics and outstanding projection make this OM-28 a real pleasure to play. Whether fingerpicking or powerful strumming, the guitar responds effortlessly and maintains a wonderfully balanced tone.

Condition:
Good, well-maintained condition with normal signs of play and use. We purchased the guitar directly from its original owner.

There are some minor marks, small dings and very fine finish cracks, some of which are barely visible and difficult to photograph. These are cosmetic and do not affect the guitar's structural integrity or playability.

Part of the binding on the back of the body had become loose and was professionally reattached by our luthier. The repair was carried out very neatly and is barely noticeable, although it can still be seen upon close inspection.

The frets show some minor localized playwear but still have plenty of material remaining. A refret is not necessary.

Structurally and technically, the guitar is in excellent condition. It has been carefully checked and professionally set up by us and offers outstanding playability.
