Fender Limited Johnny Marr Jaguar 2022 - Fever Dream Yellow

Up for sale is my Johnny Marr signature Jaguar in the limited Fever Dream Yellow finish, made in Corona in August 2022. Model #0116400714. Serial checks out on Fender’s lookup. Setup at Austin Vintage Guitars.

Condition

Excellent overall, with one flaw: a small paint chip on the front of the body, shown in the photos. No other chips, dings, or buckle rash. Frets have plenty of life left, neck is straight, and electronics all work as they should. Comes with the original Fender hardshell case, tremolo arm, and case candy.

What makes this one different from a standard Jag

Marr worked with Fender to fix the things players complain about on vintage Jaguars, and the result plays much more like a working instrument than a museum piece.

• Custom-wound Bare Knuckle Johnny Marr pickups, hotter and fuller than stock Jag single coils
• 4-way blade switch instead of the original rail switching: bridge, bridge + neck in parallel, neck, and bridge + neck in series. The series setting is the fattest sound on the guitar and is a big part of why people buy this model
• Two slide switches: a universal bright switch and a bright switch for the series position
• Mustang saddles on the Jaguar bridge, so strings stay put and don’t buzz or jump out
• Vintage-style floating tremolo with a smooth, usable wobble
• Neck profile based on Johnny’s own ‘65 Jaguar, gloss nitro finish, 7.25" radius, vintage-style frets
• 24" scale, easy on the hands and great for chords and bends

Specs

Alder body, gloss lacquer finish, 3-ply mint green pickguard, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard and ivory dot inlays, synthetic bone nut (1.650"), American Vintage tuners.

Fever Dream Yellow was a limited run, and you don’t see many of these come up used. Happy to answer questions or send more photos. Ships fully insured in the hardshell case inside a proper guitar box.
