Fender Custom Shop Abigail Ybarra Hand Wound Stratocaster Pickups

A set of pickups signed by Ms Abigail Ibarra, now retired, the famous Fender pickup manufacturer.

They were removed from a Custom Shop guitar, so the wiring is exactly as it was installed, all different lengths and cut to the optimum length.

They were removed from a '62 Strat that had been reliced, so the pole pieces have also been reliced and are true to the '62 Strat specs, with bevelled pole pieces.

After purchasing this guitar several years ago, it was used on a 54 Strat (shop special order model from Norman's Rare Guitars) by a professional repairman, but is being offered for sale as it has been converted back to original due to equipment clearance.

The sound is delicate and powerful, especially when the volume is turned down, and the bell ringing is even better than the Norman's special order pickups. (*This is just my personal impression.)

It is signed in gold writing, which is used only on master-designed handwound pickups, which are considered to be particularly rare among Abbey pickups, and I think it would be easy to find one on its own.

It is rare to find one in this condition in the future.

It will be carefully packaged and shipped in an empty case.

Installation should be done by a professional repairer with expertise.
