The Fender Custom Shop Josefina Hand-Wound Red Hot Telecaster Pickup Set delivers a hotter take on classic Telecaster tone without sacrificing the clarity, articulation and dynamic response that made the design famous. Hand-wound by Fender Custom Shop Master Pickup Winder Josefina Campos, these Telecaster pickups are overwound for increased output, pushing amplifiers into rich, responsive overdrive while adding muscular midrange presence, tight low-end punch and sizzling top-end detail. The bridge pickup combines overwound coils with flush-mounted Alnico V magnets for powerful attack and enhanced cut, while the neck pickup uses Alnico 2 magnets to balance the set with a warmer, smoother response. Together, they create a versatile Telecaster pickup set equally capable of classic twang, gritty rhythm tones and saturated lead work.
