2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique — '57 Classics, All Original, 8.2 lbs

2007 Gibson Les Paul Classic Antique in Vintage Sunburst (model LPCAVSNH1, serial 011770642). The serial dates the build to April 27, 2007. I bought it new from Guitar Center and have been its only owner since.

The Classic Antique was built for 2007–2008 only, and unlike the standard Les Paul Classic it carries '57 Classic PAF-style humbuckers rather than the ceramic 496R/500T — the pickups most Classic owners end up swapping to.

Specifications
Mahogany body with AA figured maple top. Mahogany neck, '60s slim taper profile. Bound rosewood fingerboard, 22 frets, 24¾" scale, 1-11/16" nut. Antique cream binding, green key tuners, amber top hat knobs, nickel hardware. Weighs 8.1–8.2 lbs (measured on two scales) — light for a Les Paul.

Originality
Nothing replaced, nothing modified. Original pickups, pots, wiring, tuners, plastics and hardware throughout. No headstock break or repair. No cracks, no refinish, no routing.

The only work ever done: in 2026 a technician at Guitar Center reseated one original pearloid trapezoid inlay of the 9th fret that had lifted slightly — the original inlay, glued back carefully in place after cleaning its space, nothing replaced. Photographed below.

Condition
Never gigged. Never traveled. Played occasionally at home only and treated with a collector in mind. Ie was always kept in its original case. Fret wear is minimal to the point of being hard to find. Neck is straight, truss rod functions normally, action is low and it plays clean throughout.

Included
Original Gibson hardshell case, in good condition, with a faint shadow where a previous sticker was removed.

Ships double-boxed, strings slackened, headstock supported.
