A very clean example with the traditional cream plastics, amber Top Hat knobs, gloss nitro finish, and dual Gibson P-90s.
The P-90 version is a great variation on the traditional Les Paul Standard formula. It retains the mahogany body and neck, maple top, rosewood fingerboard, ABR-1 bridge, and substantial Vintage '50s neck profile, but with the additional attack, clarity, and openness of a pair of P-90s.
This guitar was originally sold through the Gibson Demo Shop and includes its original Gibson Demo Shop documentation. As with Demo Shop instruments, the rear of the headstock is factory stamped DEMO. It also includes the original Gibson hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, and Gibson case candy shown in the photos.
The guitar weighs approximately 9.1 lb, with a neck measuring approximately .900" at the 1st fret and 1.020" at the 12th.
It presents extremely well overall. There is a light scuff on the upper shoulder, some light marking on the back of the neck, and minor surface swirling and handling wear that can be seen under the right light. The original Demo Shop documentation also noted cosmetic finish imperfections when the guitar was originally sold. The detailed photos are intended to show the condition clearly.
The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, the electronics operate as they should, and there are no structural issues.

The Ebony P-90 configuration is a less common alternative to the usual humbucker-equipped '50s Standard and gives this guitar a distinct identity while keeping the traditional Les Paul look and construction.
