PRS Archon Classic 50-watt Tube Amplifier Head

Revered Old-school Rock Tones Meet Modern PRS Appointments Far from a reissue of the original Archon, the PRS Archon Classic boasts a fully revoiced circuit that excels in the arena-ready realms of ’70s- and ’80s-style rock. This 50-watt head draws its power from a sextet of ECC83 preamp tubes and dual 6CA7s to result in two ripping channels: Clean and Lead. First up, while the Clean channel can certainly dish out lush, shimmering sounds, it’s equally at home unleashing glassy edge-of-breakup bite. The Lead channel also takes a turn from the standard Archon with a broader variety of hard-rocking flavors and hot-rodded vintage-inspired character.
