Sean Long, lead guitarist for British metalcore group While She Sleeps, collaborated with Charvel to create his ultimate metal machine: the
San Dimas Style 1 Sean Long Signature electric guitar. This solidbody electric guitar has a contoured alder body for lightweight comfort throughout a long set. It comes loaded with an EMG 57/66 set for tones that slice cleanly through the mix, regardless of gain level. Other premium features include graphite neck reinforcement, a compound-radius maple fingerboard, jumbo frets, a hardtail bridge, and locking tuners. Sean’s San Dimas Style 1 signature guitar also comes with personalized touches, including custom pickup colors and the While She Sleeps logo on the back of the headstock. Players searching for a heavy-hitting axe will find enlightenment with the Charvel San Dimas Style 1 Sean Long Signature electric guitar!
The EMG 57/66 pickup combo is very well loved. You get a 57 in the neck for unmistakable PAF-style tones. Meanwhile, the 66 bridge humbucker delivers the bite you need with clarity to spare. Together with a cranked amp, these pickups turn the Sean Long’s San Dimas Style 1 signature guitar into a sonic flamethrower. It’s the perfect match for heavy riffing, sharp-as-glass leads, and everything in between.
Sean Long’s fretboard pyrotechnics are undeniably impressive. His signature Charvel San Dimas Style 1 signature guitar has a specially carved neck to help him reach new heights every time he takes a solo. The comfortable profile provides you with a solid foundation. What’s more, there’s a compound-radius fingerboard that transitions from a 12-inch radius to a 16-inch radius as you work your way up the neck. Combined with the expertly dressed jumbo frets, the compound radius fingerboard gives you the right feel for every playing position.
Heavy-hitting music can wreak havoc on your tuning stability — especially if you’re playing a guitar with a tremolo tailpiece. That’s one of the reasons why Sean specified that his signature guitar comes equipped with a Charvel compensated hardtail bridge. The string-through-body bridge design effectively transfers vibrations through the guitar, leading to improved sustain and resonance. Since there are no tremolo springs to deal with, you’ll be rewarded with unreal tuning stability that lasts longer than ever before.
