About This Listing

THE HOLY GRAIL OF 90s TAMA CRAFTSMANSHIP.

Up for sale is an absolute museum-grade artifact from TAMA’s golden era of drum building - The Artwood Gibraltar (Model GR326BE) in a breathtaking, and extremely rare natural Birdseye Maple finish.

This is not just a "mint condition" snare; this is a literal TIME CAPSULE. Finding a 90s heavyweight like this is rare enough, but finding one that has survived three decades in all original hardware is much more difficult.

This snare is in FACTORY ORIGINAL form down to the consumable parts.

• Original Heads: It still rocks the factory-installed TAMA-branded Remo Ambassador Batter and Snare Side heads. (But I suggest you to replace both heads for better playability.)

• Original Wires: The original "Made in Japan" snare wires are still perfectly seated.

This means this drum has seen minimal wear and was meticulously stored in a climate-controlled environment for its entire life.

Specifications:

• Shell: A thick 11mm, 15-ply ultra-thick all-birdseye maple shell.

•Tone: Loud projection, heavy attack, and focused articulation. It delivers the volume of a metal snare but retains the inherent warmth and EQ'd punch of premium maple.

• Finish: The outer veneer is an exotic Birdseye Maple. The figuring is exceptionally dense and vibran. Zero ply-separation, zero extra holes.

Hardwares:

• Hoops: Original TAMA Die-Cast hoops for maximum tuning stability and explosive rimshots.

• Lugs: The original rectangular tube lugs with 8 original tension rod locks.

• Condition: I have just performed a meticulous teardown. Every single piece of chrome hardware was deep-cleaned and hand-polished. The tension rods were cleaned and lubricated. The chrome is absolutely gleaming and mirror-like with minimal vintage pitting. The throw-off operates buttery smooth.

SHIPPING & STORE POLICY:

• I am a serious collector and seller. This drum will be packed securely with heavy-duty double-wall corrugated export boxes and airbags.

• Ships globally via premium carrier (UPS/FedEx Express Saver). International transit usually takes a lightning-fast 2-4 business days.

• Note: Listed shipping rate applies to major metropolitan areas. Remote areas may incur additional courier surcharges. Buyers also pay VAT, tariffs and taxes.

For the most accurate and potentially discounted shipping rate to your specific location, please send a message or submit an 'Offer' with your Postal/Zip Code prior to purchasing. Reverb allows me to adjust and customize the final shipping cost specifically for you during the offer negotiation phase.

Do not miss the chance to own an unplayed, collector-grade 15-ply beast. This belongs in a top-tier studio or a serious TAMA collection. Grab it before it’s gone.
