Everything you need to install Gibson Pickups and electronics in your Les Paul
All components have quick connect terminals for ease of installation - No soldering required. Remove your pickups, pots, switch and output jack and replace them with the parts included in this kit.

Controls:

• Three-way toggle switch
• Bridge volume, Bridge tone, Neck volume, Neck tone
• Pull bridge volume to split bridge pickup for single coil (P90) mode
• Pull neck volume to split neck pickup for single coil (P90) mode
• Pull bridge tone for pure bypass mode (bridge pickup directly to output jack, no tone)
• Pull neck tone for phase reverse for that out of phase quack like Greeny

Burstbucker '61 Pickups:  The Gibson Burstbucker pickups use Alnico V magnets and are wound with 5261 winds on the screw side and 5000 on the slug side. They are designed to replicate the subtle variations of classic humbucker tones with historically unbalanced coil windings. The 61R (neck) and 61T (bridge) pickups are wound identically, reflecting the historical practice of using the same pickup for both positions.  Because of the Alnico 5 magnets and asymmetrical windings, the Burstbucker '61s offer a distinct sound signature: 

• Bright, clear and glassy with greater touch sensitivity and top-end sparkle than standard PAF's
• A scooped, less compressed midrange paired with tight, punchy bass
• Clean tones sound airy and open, while pushing the amp produces a legendary snarling, aggressive classic-rock bite without getting muddy
• Known for a bright and smooth tone with clarity, especially when overdriven, achieving a magical distortion with slightly enhanced highs

Key Specifications & Design:

• Magnet Type: Alnico 5 magnets. This sets them apart from standard Burstbucker 1, 2, and 3, which use warmer, softer Alnico 2 magnets.
• The Winding Secret: Like vintage PAFs, they feature unbalanced (asymmetric) coil windings, but with a specific twist. While Burstbucker Pros have more wire wound onto the inner slug coil, the '61s are overwound on the outer screw coil.
• Wax Potting: They are very lightly potted, leaving the coils open and acoustically "alive."
• Output: Moderate vintage-style output, usually measuring around 7.8k to 8.0k Ohms
