Just like the SR series, we’ve received a used 6-string bass from the BTB series—another iconic Ibanez model!

The BTB series offers a host of attractive features while retaining excellent playability and sustain.

Characterized by a deep cutaway and a set-neck design, it combines a unique look with exceptional playability.

It features a new body design with bold cutouts, delivering excellent playability despite its 35-inch scale length.

The rich tone produced by the combination of the through-neck construction and body materials offers deep, long sustain and a solid tone, making this a versatile model suitable for everything from smooth, easy-to-play sounds to loud, powerful tones.

The frets are made of stainless steel, which offers low friction, a bright tone, and high durability.

It also features a zero fret for more accurate intonation.

The bridge is the MR5S (Monorail) bridge, which features an independent string structure that minimizes interference between strings.

It is equipped with Bartolini BH2 pickups, which deliver a balanced, warm response characterized by a tight low end and rich midrange.

The preamp features an equalizer that produces a wide-ranging, low-noise active sound.

By switching the selector, you can adjust the midrange frequency band—the core of the bass sound—to 250Hz, 450Hz, or 700Hz.

Regarding its condition, there are scattered scratches and minor dents throughout, and while there are signs of use such as some tarnish on the parts, there is no significant damage. The neck is in good condition with no buzzing.

There are no noticeable areas of significant fret wear.
