Channel A (Clean/Crunch): Designed for bright clean tones that gradually break up as the gain is increased, reaching a classic rock crunch.
Channel B (Lead): Adds an extra gain stage via a diode clipping circuit, delivering the aggressive distortion needed for ’90s hard rock and metal.
Independent Gain: Each channel has its own gain control (0–10).
Spring Reverb: Two separate knobs to control the Accutronics reverb on each channel.
Master Volume: Two separate master volumes to balance levels between clean and distorted sounds.
Shared EQ: Bass, Middle, Treble, and Presence controls affect both channels.
Inputs: Standard – Return
Power Mode: Rear switch to toggle between High (100W) and Low (50W).
Effects Loop: A key feature for ’90s guitarists, with level control to match pedals or rack multi-effects.
Compensated Outputs: Two DI outputs (one filtered “Recording” and one linear “Direct”) for going straight into a mixer.
Impedance: Selectable 4/16 and 8 ohms.
Chassis: Steel chassis with a multi-layer birch cabinet.
Grille: Black cloth with large white Marshall logo.
