This Statocaster features a bevy of traditional appointments including a V-shaped neck profile carve with a vintage spec 7 1/4" fingerboard radius, Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups, and a gloss Vintage Blonde nitro lacquer finish.
Tonewoods include an ash body and one-piece maple neck, and this Strat weighs 8lbs 11oz. Fender’s Pure Vintage ‘57 single coils are faithful to vintage spec with black fiber bobbins, cloth-covered leads, and staggered, beveled pole pieces. A range of classic Strat tonalities can be achieved via the five-way selector switch; the bridge pickup has plenty of sparkling cut on tap, the neck pickup has a throaty fullness while remaining articulate, and there's a distinctive hollow quack at the “in-between” positions. This American Vintage II ‘57 Stratocaster has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Vintage Blonde nitro lacquer finish subtly highlights the grain of the ash body, and cosmetic wear is limited to one tiny chip on the lower bout perimeter and a few faint scratches in the clear coat on the rest of the body. The ambered gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
