Up for sale is a Furman Sound PQ-3 1U rackmount Parametric Equalizer / Preamp. This early San Rafael, CA-built unit is highly sought after for guitar and studio rigs — made famous by players like Jerry Garcia and Trey Anastasio for its warm, musical EQ and powerful preamp section.

3 fully-parametric bands with ±20 dB boost/cut

Adjustable frequency and bandwidth (Q) per band for precise tone shaping

Preamp level control and bypass switch

Condition:

Vintage unit, tested and functional. Normal rack wear and oxidation on the chassis (see photos), but all knobs and switches are intact and working. Original captive power cord. Rear panel jacks clearly labeled.
