Based on a rare Schecter gem - sort of

This Schecter Banshee-6 Active is loosely based on the short-lived Banshee from 2005-2006. It was a very cool guitar with a unique vibe, packing one humbucker, one lipstick single-coil pickup, and an odd 5+1 headstock. The Banshee-6 Active is equipped for more aggressive tonality, making this model a decidedly different Banshee.

Aggressive tone from active EMG humbuckers

For 100% solid-metal tone, you just can't top the Banshee-6 Active's tried-and-true combination of active EMG pickups. Possibly the most popular pickup in metal history, the EMG 81 gives the Schecter Banshee-6 Active the intensity your amplifier thrives on. An EMG 85 in the bridge completes the picture, giving you the edge you need to cut through even the busiest mix.

Your fingers will fly on this compound-radius fretboard

The Banshee-6 Active features a 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fretboard for ultimate playability. The fingerboard is rounder near the nut for easy chord-grabbing and rhythm playing. As your playing heats up and moves up the fretboard, the radius flattens out for easier runs and big string bends. With a neck that plays this slick, you'll be up at the highest frets before you know it.
