The RB924 is a "Deluxe" edition Roadstar II Bass series solid body electric bass model introduced by Ibanez for 1983. It was produced in Japan by FujiGen.
The RB924 features a double-cutaway alder body with Bird's eye maple top bolted to a maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with white dot position markers and black side dots and a maple headstock. Components include a Super P5S pickup on the bridge position and a Super J6 passive pickup on the neck position, an Accu-cast B II bridge with 19mm string spacing, a plastic nut, Velve tune B II tuning machines and Ibanez "Dead End" strap buttons.
The RB924 was discontinued after 1984.
