As a followup to the SYB-3, Boss released the upgraded SYB-5 Bass Synthesizer. Using digital signal processing technology, the SYB-5 is able to accurately mimic analog synthesizers. With eleven variations of saw, square, and pulse waves that have a sharper, more enhanced wave shape, as well as filter cutoff and LFO rate controls using an expression pedal, gives you altogether a versatile but simple, easy-to-use bass synthesizer.
