Rickenbacker Cheyenne 4004 Cii 2008 BlueBurst Bass, EXTREMELY RARE and Beautifully Flamey!

Brand New Old Stock

Ordered in 2006 and arrived in 2008

This bass has only been out of the case for inspection and photos. I seriously doubt you will find another Brand New 4004 Cii Cheyenne Bass in Blueburst, anywhere on this planet in this Factory Fresh Condition.  It's difficult enough to find any Ric 4004 Cii Cheyenne in any color, for that matter. Very few were ever produced. In fact, although I'm not sure how accurate it is, but I was told back in 2006 by several reputable Rickenbacker dealers that less than 7 of these 4004 Cii Basses were made in Blueburst; the most rare and most desirable Rickenbacker Color. Blueburst...affectionately referred to as "BBR" was only made in 2006. Thus, Rickenbacker's 2006 Color Of The Year (COY) designation.

Rickenbacker discontinued production of the 4004 Basses in 2017. They were already extremely rare. Now they are in very high demand in both the collector market, as well as the professional player's market.

This bass plays like a dream and has that signature Ric Bass thunderous low end, biting midrange growl, and shimmering high end that Rickenbacker Basses are known for; and since the pickups are special Rickenbacker humbuckers, there is no noise or hum.

Simply a gorgeous and marvelous sounding instrument. The photos do not do this bass justice. It is absolutely a beautiful piece of Rickenbacker craftsmanship, indeed!

Includes original Rickenbacker Documentation that was shipped from Rickenbacker with this instrument.

If you are looking for one of the Rarest Rickenbacker Instruments ever produced, you are in the right place.
