Wampler Tweed '57 Limited Edition (2023 Revival) - Mint Condition, Original Owner w/ Box

Up for sale is an incredibly rare Wampler Tweed '57 Limited Edition in absolute Mint condition. In late 2023, Brian Wampler reached into his historical archive to briefly revive this out-of-production masterpiece for a highly exclusive, limited run of only circa 200 units worldwide, sold strictly direct through the Wampler webstore. I am the original owner of this unit, and it has been lightly handled exclusively in a clean, smoke-free home studio environment. It has never seen a live stage, floor handling, or pedalboard velcro.

The Tweed '57 is widely celebrated as one of the most accurate, dynamic "amp-in-a-box" emulations ever designed, capturing the exact circuit topology and raw behavior of vintage 1950s Fender Deluxe, Bandmaster, and Bassman amplifiers. Driven by a dedicated 3-position Input Simulator toggle (Normal, Bright, and Linked), it behaves exactly like a real physical tube amp—allowing you to virtually jumper the inputs for explosive multi-stage gain cascades. Coupled with an interactive active 3-band EQ, it delivers that legendary sag, touch-responsive woody compression, and grit that cleans up beautifully with your guitar's volume knob.

Condition Notes:

• Provenance: Original owner, single-studio pedigree. Meticulously handled and preserved as an elite collector's piece from the day it arrived direct from the shop.
• Cosmetic Condition: Mint. The classic "mustard" colored housing layout, vintage text font, and white pointer control knobs are entirely pristine, crisp, and completely free of marks, chips, or scratches.
• Inclusions: Includes the original factory direct retail packaging box and original printed documentation paperwork.
• Functionality: 100% operational. The 3-way input simulator switch snaps cleanly, the active EQ sweeps seamlessly, and all audio pots run smoothly and silently.

From the manufacturer:

Coveted by blues, country, and rock players alike – tweed-style amplifiers have been staples in famous musicians’ live and studio setups since their introduction. With their warm and woolly sound and pushed volume tube break-up, the tone of tweed amps have found their way on to numerous historic recordings of some legendary artists such as Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Billy Gibbons, and Joe Bonamassa.

Those historic tweed-style amps and their legendary tones are responsible for the inspiration behind the Wampler Tweed ‘57. This pedal offers a wide tonal palette of sounds and includes several features that you’ve come to expect from Wampler.
