2023 Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Figured Top - Ocean Blue

Step back into rock 'n' roll history with a modern masterpiece that honors Gibson's Golden Era! The Gibson Les Paul Standard '50s Figured Top in Ocean Blue brings back all the magic, tone, and feel that made the Les Paul an absolute titan across genres. Featuring a resonant solid mahogany body anchored by an eye-popping AA figured maple top, this guitar wears its translucent nitrocellulose finish like a badge of honor—letting the rich grain of the wood shine through while allowing the guitar to breathe and age gracefully over time.

Tone hounds, prepare to be amazed. Beneath the hood, Gibson loaded this beauty with calibrated Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 humbuckers packed with Alnico 2 magnets. Wired with hand-connected audio taper potentiometers and classic Orange Drop capacitors, you get that irresistible combination of warmth, bite, and glassy clarity that defined the golden age of electric guitars. Whether you are dialing in subtle blues breakup or cranked classic rock overdrive, this Les Paul sings with legendary voice and endless sustain.

The Les Paul Standard is no stranger to music royalty, having fueled iconic performances by legends like Jimmy Page, Slash, Joe Perry, and Billy Gibbons. With its comfortable, rounded 50s Vintage mahogany neck profile and buttery-smooth Indian rosewood fingerboard, you'll feel instantly connected to the instrument. Complete with period-correct hardware like the ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and Vintage Deluxe tuners, this Ocean Blue beauty isn't just an instrument—it's an heirloom-quality tone machine ready for stage or studio.
