Gibson Les Paul Standard 1980 Natural Finish

Listing my Gibson Les Paul for sale. Recently purchased an SG and found it is a better fit for me.

Condition is very good for its age. It has been played but well cared for. Very little finish checking, no headstock repairs or other major damage. There is belt buckle wear and some wear around the edges and rear strap button. The pickguard has a small crack near the screw hole but is not broken. The celluloid inlays have shrunken but are secure and not felt while playing

This guitar is a fantastic player with some upgrades and modifications, but includes most of the original electronics to revert to stock if desired.

Modifications include:

-Stew Mac Golden Age 50s wiring harness including Stew Mac 500k audio taper pots, orange drop capacitors, switchcraft jack and switch

-Gibson Custombucker pickups

-Refret with Jumbo frets

-new bone nut

-full setup by local Luther - exceptional playability with low action

Original parts included:

-Original Neck Pickup believed to be an early Tim Shaw PAF

-original harness including switch and jack

-Original Gibson Chainsaw Case missing rear latch but functional
