Up for sale, a 1976 Fender Precision Bass in excellent condition and in perfect working order. A rare example with an "A" nut width (1 1/2"), this Precision Bass boasts the same slender and easily navigable nut width of a Jazz Bass.
Lightweight and well-balanced at 8lbs 2oz, this Precision Bass features an ash body and a one-piece maple neck, pairing the midrange warmth and push of ash with the articulation and note attack of the maple fingerboard. The original gray bobbin split-coil pickup yields plenty of low end power and broad, smooth thump, particularly round and full-bodied with the Tone knob dialed back. This Precision Bass has been professionally set up here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar with 45-100 flatwound strings, easy-playing action, and accurate intonation.

Body Specs:
The gloss Natural finish has a spot of buckle wear concentrated along the edge of the belly carve, light strap-related wear near the rear strap button, and some additional minor nicks and scuffs on the body as a whole. The original gloss is retained on the fretboard, while the neck carve has been stripped to bare maple for a silky smooth satin feel.
A modern hardshell case is included.
