The build quality is incredible and the tone is fantastic, but I’m just not bonding with it. • Premium Strings: Upgraded to a brand-new set of La Bella "Stang" Flatwounds. These are specifically designed, sized, and tensioned for the through-body stringing of Mustang basses to give it that classic, punchy, old-school Motown thump. (Original Fender factory roundwounds are included).
• Aesthetic Upgrade: Swapped out the plain stock black pickguard for a beautiful vintage-style tortoise guard. (Original black factory pickguard is also included in the case).
• Case: Includes the official heavy-duty Fender Deluxe Gig Bag. (Note: Fender does not manufacture a custom molded hardshell case for this specific modern contour, so this deluxe bag is the premium factory standard).

Unlike a traditional P-bass that heavily cuts highs and adds muddy low-end when rolled back, the Greasebucket circuit smoothly rolls off high-end sparkle WITHOUT adding mud or losing overall volume.
