🎸 2013 Fender Japan Limited Edition ST62/QT Quilt Top Stratocaster, Made in Japan 🎸

Some Strats blend in. This one 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰. A 2013 Fender Japan ST62/QT in Aqua Blue, a factory special run built for the Japanese market that took the classic '62 Strat and dressed it in a jaw-dropping 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩. Deep ocean blue on the edges melts into glowing turquoise and sea-green in the center, and the quilt ripples like water every time the light moves.

🔥 𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐌𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐒 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 🔥

✅ 𝐅𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐓𝟔𝟐/𝐐𝐓, a 2013 factory special run made for the Japanese market

✅ 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐩 over an alder body, with a translucent blue back that shows the grain

✅ '𝟔𝟐-𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐤: spaghetti logo and the "Original Contour Body" decal

✅ 𝟑 𝐅𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐢𝐥𝐬, 5-way switch, 1 volume and 2 tones

✅ 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞-𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞 𝟔-𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐬𝐲𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐥𝐨 and vintage-style tuners

✅ 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐠𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 on a rosewood board with a warm, vintage-tinted neck

✅ 𝐌𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝟗.𝟓" 𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟐𝟐 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐬, easy bends all the way up the neck

✅ 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟕.𝟕 𝐥𝐛𝐬, comfy for long gigs

✅ 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧

🎶 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄 🎶

Those three single coils deliver the 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐲, 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐞 that made the Strat a legend. Positions 2 and 4 give you that 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐲, 𝐟𝐮𝐧𝐤𝐲 𝐢𝐧-𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐥𝐞, the neck pickup is warm and vocal for blues, and the bridge bites through the mix when you need it to 𝐜𝐮𝐭. Clean, dirty, or anywhere in between, she sounds like a Strat should.

🎸 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐄𝐄𝐋 🎸

Like every guitar I sell, she's been 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐮𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧. The neck goes from a comfortable .86 at the 1st fret to .95 at the 12th, with a 1.67" nut and a 9.5" radius that's 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. Low action, smooth polished frets, and a neck that 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 straight out of the bag.

💎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐊 💎

This is the one that makes people stop and stare. She's in 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧, 𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (look hard enough and you might find a tiny ding or light surface scratch, but she's about as clean as they come), the gloss finish is clean and glassy, and the quilt has serious 𝟑𝐃 𝐝𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐡: it flips from blue to teal to green as you tilt her. The translucent blue back lets the wood grain show through, the white pearloid pickguard pops against the burst, and the tinted neck gives her a warm vintage vibe. 𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐫 on stage and on the wall.

Rare Japanese-market factory special run, killer quilt, Japanese build quality. 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐞! 🌊

Neck & Setup (unless otherwise noted)

- Neck is perfectly straight with no truss rod issues.

- Intonation is spot-on.

- Professionally set up with low action and new American-made strings.

- All frets are dressed, leveled, crowned (if needed), and polished to shine like new, with no divots.

Return Policy, Restocking Fees & No Tire-Kicking Policy

We follow Reverb's 7-day return policy. However:

- You must notify us in writing within 3 days of delivery (per tracking) of your intent to return.

- Original shipping and return shipping costs are not refunded unless the guitar is damaged in transit or is significantly not as described (for example, you ordered red and got white, or a Telecaster instead of a Les Paul).

- A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns for any reason other than damage in transit or significantly not as described. Please note that a 10% restocking fee applies to orders that have been purchased and paid for and have been off the market for 24 hours or more, even if they have not been shipped or picked up by the carrier, because we perform a final setup and change the strings as soon as an order is placed and paid for. NO EXCEPTIONS.

We do our best to honestly describe and photograph every guitar and most of the noticeable imperfections. That said, we are human, and something very small can be overlooked. If tiny marks, dings, or super fine scratches (normal wear) bother you, please don't buy.

We record demo videos of every guitar before shipping to document its exact condition and performance. Additional photos, measurements, or in-hand descriptions are available upon request prior to purchase.

Minor adjustments to a setup (for example, correcting a slight buzz or a truss rod tweak) are normal after shipping, due to carrier mishandling and climate and atmospheric changes, especially when moving from South Florida to colder or less humid environments. These slight issues do not constitute "significantly not as described." Guitars must be returned in the exact same condition as received/advertised, or additional repair/restocking fees will apply.

We are a small, family-owned and family-run business, not a big-chain retailer. We invest significant time, money, and effort into every guitar. This is a NO TIRE-KICKING shop. There is no post-purchase haggling, and there are no returns without restocking fees and no partial refunds. If minor cosmetic marks, tiny imperfections, odors/smells, or the possibility of a post-shipping setup tweak makes you uncomfortable, please do not buy. Plenty of large retailers offer free trials and can absorb shipping costs; we do not.

Payment, Shipping & International Duties

- All items can be shipped internationally. The buyer is fully responsible for all import duties, taxes, and customs fees.

- We accept PayPal, PayPal Credit, Affirm, and other major payment methods.

- Most U.S. shipments are sent via UPS or FedEx with full insurance, tracking, and signature confirmation. All packages are professionally packed for maximum protection.

International Shipping Note

International shipping prices shown are for most countries; certain countries have higher costs. We try to avoid USPS and mostly ship UPS, but in certain situations USPS is the only available or reasonable carrier. Express services (UPS, DHL, FedEx) are always available. We can't undervalue merchandise, as it could not be properly insured. If you would like to discuss different options, contact us by email or phone for a personalized quote.

Thank you for considering The Guitar Dude. We look forward to earning your business and delivering a guitar that exceeds your expectations. Contact us anytime for questions, consignment inquiries, layaway details, or a personalized shipping quote.
