Eastman is renowned for its solid-wood archtop guitars. Their experience in manufacturing various instruments, including mandolins, ukuleles, and violins, and the high level of woodworking skill they've acquired, are highly regarded worldwide. They continue to uphold their policy of handcrafted production. This particular instrument is a used "AR-805," a solid-wood archtop guitar. While relatively affordable, it's made from solid wood and its high quality is highly praised. All models boast exceptional acoustic resonance for an archtop guitar, possessing significant potential as an acoustic instrument. It features a spruce top, maple sides and back, maple neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, Schaller gold tuners, and a popular antique red finish. The archtop's characteristic string sound is amplified smoothly, producing a far-reaching resonance. It has a sharp attack, clear articulation, and a rich sound with plenty of reverb. While there are some minor scratches and dents, the guitar is generally in relatively good condition overall and plays well. A great choice for those new to archtop guitars. A hard case is included.
