Ibanez GRG220PA1-BKB Gio with Purpleheart Fretboard 2022 - Present - Brown Black Burst

Description:

Up for sale is a gorgeous Ibanez GIO GRG220PA1 in Excellent Condition. This guitar looks stunning, plays fast, and punches way above its weight class. It has been meticulously cared for in a smoke-free environment and is 100% functionally perfect. Love this guitar but it is not played often.

Condition & Modifications:

• Overall Condition: Excellent. The electronics, pickups, hardware, and frets are all 100% original and in perfect working order.

• The Neck (Satinized): The back of the gloss neck has been professionally/carefully satinized (de-glossed). This removes that sticky gloss feel and makes it incredibly smooth, slick, and lightning-fast to play.

• Cosmetic Wear: The only notable cosmetic flaw is a small, minor ding on the headstock (see photos for detail). Aside from this small mark, the finish on the body and top is pristine.

• Setup & Strings: It has been freshly re-strung and set up with a newer set of Ernie Ball James Hetfield "Papa Het" signature strings. It plays beautifully with low action, great intonation, and zero fret buzz.

Features & Specs:

• Body: Okoume body with a beautiful Poplar Burl Art Grain top

• Neck: Maple neck with a Bound Purpleheart fretboard

• Frets: 24 Jumbo frets

• Pickups: Original Classic Elite humbuckers (excellent output for rock and metal)

• Bridge: T106 tremolo bridge

This is an incredible instrument for players looking for a visually striking guitar that feels broken-in and ready to shred right out of the box thanks to the satin neck treatment. Video attached is not this exact guitar but the same make model and specs.
