About This Listing

I bought this from the original owner in early 2026 and sadly it's mostly sat in the case since. The neck is really cool and the pickups are HOT. Just never found good projects to use it on and now I'm downsizing to a smaller studio space and have to sell some "nice to haves" from my arsenal so I don't have to rent a storage unit.

Has some dings that showed it was played before I bought it but nothing too crazy for a guitar this age. Admittedly I'm not sure how to properly set up a shredder guitar so it's possible it will need a new setup if you don't like how I've got it.

Per the original owner:

Vintage HM Strat from 1989 (MIJ second version, HSS with coil split, ebony fingerboard), always stored in case and seldom played, one owner. Color is still original ice blue with no fading. Aside from some finish dings (see photos), this shredder is in excellent condition. Kahler Spyder tremelo, Gitoh tuners with locking bridge and nut. Original whammy bar is included, as well as the 1980s fender USA hardcase (which is also in great shape with no issues shutting and staying closed to protect the guitar), as are all paperwork, manuals, allen keys, and original receipt (dated 10-28-89)! You will not find an HM Strat of this vintage this well preserved!
