Martin 000-18 Golden Era 2024
The 000-18 Golden Era is one of Martin’s most faithful recreations of their late-1930s instruments. This 2024 example is in mint condition, with no notable signs of play.
The Adirondack spruce top sits on forward-shifted, scalloped X-bracing, glued with hide glue just like the pre-war guitars. Back and sides are mahogany, with an ebony fingerboard and bridge. Combined with the compact 000 body and the 24.9″ scale, it makes a responsive, touch-sensitive guitar, with firm basses, round mids and real projection, whether fingerpicked or played with a light pick.
The modified V neck with a 1 3/4″ nut feels very natural in the hand, and vintage-style open-gear tuners complete the Golden Era look. No modifications, no repairs.
