This is the ODR-1, the green overdrive that Nashville session players have relied on since 1993. This is the BC version, which adds an internal bass-cut switch.
The ODR-1 is not a Tube Screamer clone. It produces a natural, uncompressed, amp-like overdrive that keeps your guitar’s character intact. It does subtle edge-of-breakup grit, bluesy crunch and full rock drive, and it works well as a clean-ish boost for solos.
The standout feature is the Spectrum control. It isn’t a standard treble knob. It moves the bass and treble balance together without scooping your mids, so the pedal stays present in a band mix with any amp.
