The Details

The Ibanez RGAIX6FM belongs to the Iron Label series, a range developed with modern heavy guitar playing firmly in mind. Combining the distinctive sculpted RGA body with a beautifully figured flamed maple top, this Transparent Grey Flat example offers an understated appearance that lets the instrument's aggressive styling and natural wood grain do the talking.

Its slim Nitro Wizard neck is designed for speed and precision, with a flat-profile ebony fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets and generous access to the upper register. The dual DiMarzio Fusion Edge humbuckers are voiced for clarity and definition under high gain, delivering the tight low end and focused midrange needed for intricate riffs, palm-muted rhythms and articulate lead playing. The three-way pickup selector and coil-tap switch provide additional flexibility for cleaner passages and lighter textures.

Hardware includes a Gibraltar Standard II fixed bridge, offering a stable and comfortable picking platform, alongside Gotoh locking machine heads for reliable tuning and easier restringing. The guitar's 25.5-inch scale length provides familiar string tension and makes it particularly well suited to down-tuned playing with an appropriate string setup.

This Indonesian-made example shows some light cosmetic signs of use, including minor marks on the body, but retains its attractive satin finish and distinctive figured top.
