Strymon EC-1 Single Head dTape Echo

The Strymon EC-1 is a compact, studio-grade tape delay pedal that captures the warm, organic character of a vintage 1960s Echoplex EP-2.

• Authentic Tape Emulation: Powered by Strymon's dTape technology, modeling single moving-head tape behavior, capstan slippage, and mechanical wear.
• Preamp Modes: Selectable tube-modeled preamps (classic EP-2 or warm César Diaz-modded voice) with up to +12dB of input signal boost via the 3-way Record Level toggle.
• Control Set: Dedicated knobs for Time (50ms to 1s), Mix, Repeats, Tape Age (high-frequency loss), and Mechanics (wow, flutter, and tape crinkle/splices).
• Stereo & Modern Connectivity: Full stereo discrete I/O, USB-C (for MIDI and firmware updates), TRS MIDI, expression pedal input, 300 savable presets, and selectable true/buffered bypass.
• Performance Tools: Glitchless tap tempo with selectable subdivisions (quarter, dotted eighth, eighth, triplets)
