Supro Coronado 1963 - Ebony Gloss

This is a 1963 Supro Coronado. It’s in really great condition with light signs of wear throughout.

As far as I can see, it’s all original except for the gold locking strap pins and red switch tip.

These old guitars were well made and innovative with the 2 piece res-o-glass body. Cool design on the very adjustable and stable tremolo bridge.

The neck is straight and set up for comfy action. Adjustable wooden saddle. Binding is cracked but mostly intact. Missing a piece at base of neck. There are a couple spots of finish loss on the back of the neck. The plastic Supro logo is somehow still intact and connected to the head. These often get lost.

Electronics are great. This thing sings!

Includes original hard case! This is probably the coolest hard case I’ve ever seen. Alligator pattern with awesome metal feet. All clasps/hinges, lock, handle, and inside pocket are in good functional condition. Slight musty smell that I’m in the process of airing out.
