Every Guitar Has a Story!

This Gibson was purchased around 2012 by Luke, then just 12 years old, from Gilmore Music in Long Beach, California, a beloved local music store that has since closed.

Luke played this bass throughout his teenage band years before joining the United States Marine Corps. With his military service taking priority, the bass spent much of the following years in storage.

In October 2026, Luke visited RO-K’s Talking Heads Guitar Lounge, where we traded this Gibson for a beautiful 1995 Made-in-Japan Fender Stratocaster. Two great instruments beginning new chapters!
