The PRS SE 24-08 is a fab guitar.
The 24 refers to the number of frets. Scale length is 25" putting it in a sweet spot between Gibson and the Fender Strat / Jazzmaster.
But the really smart bit is the 08. Twin humbuckers both with independent coil taps via toggle switches and a three way switch gives 8 pickup combinations. I would be very surprised if you can't find something useful among that lot.
One very important point (PRS please note). All PRS guitars seem to have very strange strap buttons. They look huge and everything visually suggests they should be great. They're not, best to invest in strap locks (but not Schallers, they don't fit these buttons).
