Gibson SG Standard '61 with Sideways Vibrola 2019 - Vintage Cherry

2019 Gibson SG Sideways Vibrola.

Has been looked after very well and bought from new at PMT in Birmingham so I have been the only owner of this guitar.

Truss rod cover has been changed to a Les Paul cover to match the original 1961 version of the guitar the original blank one which came with the guitar is still in the case.

Added thumb bleeders to the volume and tone knobs to match the original 1961 version although these are able to be removed.

I have added the Mojoaxe trem blocker to block The vibrola so it does not work but holds tuning stability much better although this can be reverted so the vibrola works. This upgrade costs atleast £70 to do and the parts come from America.

I have also upgraded the tuners to Grover tuners although I do not have the original tuners the guitar came with.

The 12th fret inlay has slightly risen although I’m sure this is something you can take to a guitar tech to get sorted and does not affect the playability of the guitar and you are not able to feel it whilst playing.

The guitar has been very well looked after and has been played a lot and plays lovely although I’m looking to sell as I want a new fender guitar as the humbuckers are not the sound I’m looking for currently.
