Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Crash Cymbal 18"

The Paiste PST X Swiss Flanger Crash 18" is a specialized effect cymbal engineered for drummers seeking aggressive, articulate accents with minimal sustain. This cymbal bridges the gap between a splash and a traditional crash, delivering a "shattering glass" response with lightning-fast decay. Its earthy, dry tonal character and instantaneous attack make it ideal for hand-speed punctuation, studio recording, and contemporary drumming styles that demand clarity and definition.

Built from Paiste's responsive PST X aluminum-copper alloy with a precision hole pattern, this 18" cymbal features a thin weight that opens up freely even with light stick contact. The narrow frequency range produces a warm, "pre-mixed" fundamental that cuts through dense mixes without excessive wash or ring. Perfect for drummers working in high-definition recording environments or live settings where tight, controlled cymbal articulation is essential.
