Schecter Riot-5 Bass in Aurora Burst

The Riot-5 delivers a slim, fast playing experience anchored by its thin 'C' neck profile and extended 35" scale, engineered for precision and comfort during extended sessions. Built on a swamp ash body with burl maple top and finished in striking Satin Aurora Burst, this five-string bridges versatile modern design with refined tonal character. Serious five-string players will appreciate the professional-grade active electronics and stability of the carbon fiber-reinforced neck.

The bolt-on maple/walnut multi-ply neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods provides exceptional stability across the extended 35" scale with minimal neck dive. An ebony fingerboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets and offset/reverse dot inlays sits atop a thin 'C' contour measuring 0.787" at the first fret and 0.866" at the twelfth, while the 45mm Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and 16" fretboard radius ensure smooth articulation and consistent action across the entire range.

A pair of EMG pickups—the 40JX-CS at the bridge and 40PX-CS at the neck—feed into an active electronics suite featuring Master Volume, Blend, and EMG-B30 3-Band Active EQ with tool-free 9-volt battery access. This configuration delivers punchy, articulate response with extensive tonal shaping capability for both aggressive and nuanced playing styles.
