Vintage 1970s/1980s MXR Analog Flanger/Doubler Model 126 (2U rackmount unit)

Up for sale is an original vintage MXR Model 126 Flanger/Doubler 2U analog rackmount effects processor featuring the rare, highly sought-after Black Faceplate from the early 1980s.

Famous for driving iconic guitar and vocal tones across countless classic recordings, the Model 126 relies on authentic, original Reticon Bucket Brigade Delay (BBD) chips to deliver ultra-warm, lush analog modulation. From Dimebag Darrell's legendary wide doubling effect to jet-engine jet sweeps and swirling analog chorusing, nothing matches the harmonic richness of this original hardware unit.

Condition & Performance:

• Fully Tested & Working: Passes signal cleanly across all sweep rates and manual delays. Both the Flanger and Doubler modes engage properly with full, rich analog depth.
• Cosmetics: In great shape for a vintage piece of studio gear with minor rack wear/scuffs consistent with age (please see photos for exact condition).
• Controls: Pots, switches, and jacks operate smoothly.

Key Features:

• Legendary Reticon BBD Analog Circuitry (out-of-production, original studio sound)
• Classic early '80s Black Faceplate styling
• Dual functionality: Flanger and Doubler modes in one unit
• Complete parameter control over Sweep Width, Speed, Regeneration (Feedback), and Mix
• 1/4" Line and Instrument inputs/outputs on the rear panel

Ships fully insured, packed securely in a heavy-duty box with ample padding to guarantee safe arrival.
