Upgraded with some Gibson Custom Shop and Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul Standard specs. Custom Shop grade AAA Chevron Flame top. Plays and sounds better than many Custom Shop Les Pauls, or real 59/59s for that matter. I have been playing Gibson Les Pauls for 28 years, and this is the best playing one I ever had. I tried to make it a mix of a Gibson Custom Shop 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue, and a Gibson USA Jimmy Page Signature Les Paul Standard. Very resonant and loud acoustically. PLEK'd by Gibson; very low action w/ no fret buzz or choking out. Light relic with playing wear (few body/headstock dings/minor scratches, etc could prob buff out most), but still nice and shiny overall since never left my apartment. I tried to show any blemishes, but you cant really see these without shining light right on them. Guitar looks fantastic in person. Pickups are early Gibson "Pre-Historic" 1992 Tom Holmes original PAF design... and are *exact* reproductions of original PAF pickups from the 50s. They sound *excellent*. Perfect Les Paul for a gigging guitarist who who demands the best, needs a well balanced, gorgeous guitar that turns heads, sounds killer, and is effortless to play.
Comes with original Canadian-made Gibson case, all paperwork, Gibson Multi-Tool, Gibson Owner's Manual, Gibson Baby Picture, unused Gibson Leather Strap, and original Gibson box. Only selling because getting older, and now have arthritis and carpal tunnel. So this gorgeous Les Paul needs someone who will play it properly. Shipped with Reverb Safe Shipping.
