Seymour Duncan STK-S9b Hot Stack Plus Strat Parchment Pickup

The STK-S9b Hot Stack Plus delivers aggressive output with a tight, articulate response that cuts through a mix without sacrificing clarity. This bridge position pickup combines high output with the versatility of true single-coil splitting, making it equally at home in hard rock, metal, and modern blues applications. The distinctive parchment housing adds visual character while the patented stack design handles hum rejection without relying on heavy potting.

With a DC resistance of 20.26 kΩ and Alnico V rod magnets, this pickup generates substantial presence and sustain ideal for lead work and aggressive rhythm tones. The 3.23 kHz resonant peak combined with an EQ curve of 5/7/4 (Bass/Mid/Treble) emphasizes midrange clarity and upper-mid punch while maintaining controlled low-end definition.

The patented Stack Plus design employs negative hum injection technology to eliminate 60-cycle noise without sacrificing the articulate single-coil character. Each pickup is individually factory pre-tuned, and the three-conductor wiring enables easy conversion to true single-coil mode for tonal variety.
