Synergy Friedman DS Dual Channel Preamp Module

The Synergy Friedman DS module is Dave Friedman's own design of his Dirty Shirley amp for the Synergy system. It is a classic rock voice, rich in harmonics and very touch sensitive: it cleans up as you lighten your pick attack or roll back the guitar volume, and takes pedals beautifully.

Where the original amp has one channel, the module has two. Each has its own Gain, Volume and Bright switch, sharing a three-band EQ, so you can set one channel for light grit and the other for a full lead tone, like two Dirty Shirleys in one module. A three-position cathode select switch inside sets the input tube response.
