Ludwig Supraphonic Chrome Over Brass Snare Drum – Classic 14x6.5 Professional Snare
The Ludwig LB402B Supraphonic Chrome Over Brass Snare Drum brings back a legendary design that shaped modern drumming. Inspired by the iconic 1959–61 Brass 400 model, this 14x6.5 snare combines vintage character with reliable studio and stage performance. The 1.2mm chrome-plated seamless brass shell delivers warm, focused tones with cutting projection—ideal for rock, pop, jazz, and session work. Whether you're drawn to Ludwig's storied heritage or seeking a snare with proven tuning range and resonance, the Supraphonic offers authentic construction backed by decades of professional use.
Built for durability and responsive playing, this snare drum features 10 Imperial lugs that secure the shell with precision, triple-flanged hoops for even head seating and bright articulation, and a P88AC throw-off for smooth snare engagement.
