DW DWCP9701X 9000X Series Boom Cymbal Stand, Low

Introducing the DW 9701X, the specialized low-profile solution in the next-generation 9000X Series. Purpose-built for rides and hard-to-place effects cymbals, this stand delivers legendary rock-solid support in a more compact, vertically efficient design. It is the professional’s choice for maintaining a clean, ergonomic setup without sacrificing the stability required for heavy playing.

The 9701X is engineered for drummers who prefer their cymbals at a lower height or need to tuck gear into tight spaces:

• Optimized Low Reach: Specifically designed to sit lower than standard boom stands, making it perfect for ride cymbals or side-effects cymbals that need to stay close to the kit.
• Convertible Straight/Boom Design: Offers the versatility of a boom arm for precise horizontal reaching, but can quickly be converted into a straight stand for a more traditional, streamlined look.
• Ultra-Rigid Tripod Base: Features heavy-gauge tubing and a wide-footprint tripod that keeps even the heaviest 24" ride cymbals steady and secure.

As part of the 9000X family, this stand is packed with DW’s latest hardware innovations:

• InnerLock™ Memory System: Features the revolutionary internal memory lock system for a sleek aesthetic and 100% repeatable height settings that don’t require external clamps.
• Toothless Tilter with Techlock: Provides infinite angle adjustment, while the secondary Techlock drum key locking system prevents any "tilter drift" during aggressive performances.
• Quick-Release Wingnuts: Engineered for the touring pro, these wingnuts allow for instant cymbal changes and secure hold in seconds.

• MOD Tripod Compatible: For extreme boom extensions or top-heavy setups, add the optional MOD Tripod Counterweight System to keep the stand firmly grounded.
• Studio-Quiet Design: Equipped with plastic tube insulators to eliminate internal rattling, a must-have feature for high-fidelity recording environments.

The DW 9701X Low Boom Stand is more than just a stand; it is a high-precision tool designed to give you total control over your cymbal placement while ensuring your foundation remains unshakeable.
