The Epiphone Broadway continues the time-honoured hollow-body concept of the archtop guitar, which has been in production since 1931, with classically inspired features, and delivers the authentic sound of early hollow-body guitars. The fully hollow body is constructed from five-ply maple with a spruce top and is complemented by multi-layer binding on the top and back, as well as framed F-holes. A three-piece maple neck with a SlimTaper 60s C profile features a rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, 20 medium-jumbo frets and intricately designed block inlays made of mother-of-pearl with abalone details. Two Epiphone Alnico Classic PRO humbuckers handle the electrical signal conversion and can be controlled via separate volume and tone controls, as well as a 3-way switch. An adjustable floating rosewood bridge and the distinctive Frequensator Split Trapeze tailpiece emphasise the traditional archtop design, whilst Grover Rotomatic tuners, a Graph Tech nut and CTS potentiometers complete the specification. Gold-coloured hardware and the ornate dovewing headstock round off the classic look; an Epiphone Premium gig bag is included.
