This is a Squier by Fender CST-45 BLK/M 1983 JV Serial #JV58342.
"JV serial" refers to the serial numbers beginning with "JV" that were given to early Fender Japan products manufactured between 1982 and 1984. Manufactured with Fujigen's high level of technical expertise at the time, many of these "Japan Vintage" models are now traded at high prices, boasting quality comparable to, or even surpassing, comparable USA-made guitars of the time.
This particular model is a 1983 Squier-branded JV serial Stratocaster, the "CST-45 BLK/M". It features "83," "7B," and "7CT" markings in the neck pocket. The weight is 3.55kg. This
70s-style Stratocaster features an alder or ash body, a contemporary headstock, and a gleaming bullet-shaped adjustable truss rod. This model recreates the 70s music aesthetic with its large headstock, 3-bolt joint, and sophisticated proportions that represent American feel.
The JV serial number alone makes it rare, but this is a hardcore black Squier with specifications that will make heavy guitarists want to show off their skills. The pots were not working when it arrived, so we replaced all of them in our shop. Don't miss this valuable instrument that is ready to play right away!

We always try to accurately convey the condition of our products, however please bear in mind that feel, performance and even condition are subjective. In light of this, please examine the photos carefully!
