About This Listing

I purchased this guitar new from Guitar Center in 2011 and have been its only owner.

This is a Gibson USA Les Paul Special Pro, a Guitar Center-exclusive model with a gloss nitrocellulose finish, mahogany body and neck, bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays, dual original Gibson humbuckers with factory coil splitting, Tune-o-matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece, and original Gibson Deluxe tuners.

The guitar is in very clean overall condition for its age. It presents closer to Excellent condition, with only light normal playing wear and minor surface/pick marks. There is no significant buckle rash and no major dings, cracks, breaks or repairs.

There is a localized finish issue around the low-E and D-string tuner bushings on the face of the headstock. This was already present when I purchased the guitar new from Guitar Center in 2011 and has been stable since. The original tuners have never been replaced or removed, this is cosmetic only. See the headstock picture.

Schaller strap-lock buttons are installed, and the original Gibson strap buttons and screws are included.

Also included:

  • Road Runner hardshell case purchased with the guitar when new
  • Original Gibson warranty card
  • Original Gibson owner’s manual
  • Original Gibson truss-rod tool

All electronics function properly, including the factory coil-splitting feature.

One owner from new, from a temperature- and humidity-controlled, smoke-free home.
