Vintage White with a rosewood fretboard is a lovely combination on this 1997 American Standard Telecaster. It has the familiar Tele layout, with two single-coil pickups and a fixed bridge, alongside the 22-fret neck of the American Standard series. It also comes with its original Tommy Gun-style hardcase.
This USA-made model brings together the straightforward Telecaster design and Fender's American Standard appointments. It is a versatile choice for clear rhythm work, brighter bridge-pickup parts and a fuller neck-pickup sound, without an elaborate control layout to get in the way.
Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition. The control knobs show some slight corrosion, consistent with age. There is also a small finish imperfection near the jack. It has a smooth, rounded appearance, which leads us to believe it may have originated during manufacture, although we cannot confirm that. It's very small and is only visible when looking very closely.
